Husky Volleyball

Posted in Photos on January 2nd

I haven’t updated since Rome, so here are some pictures from the NCAA volleyball game I shot a few days ago. We lost.

Lately, I’ve been preparing for Winter quarter as photo editor at The Daily. I’ll post some more when I get time.

I’m really behind on posting photos because I’m so busy lately.

More to come soon.

Munich

This weekend, a fellow UW student and I went to Munich. There’s a huge contrast between anywhere in Italy and Munich. For example: I never ate a thing I didn’t love, I never met a person who wasn’t happy, and everything was extremely clean.

I didn’t take many pictures, rather, I shot a lot of video. I’ll post something eventually, but it might have to be once I return to Seattle. The MacBook Air isn’t equipped to handle that much video. I’m surprised I’ve been able to do as much as I have with it.

Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento

Posted in Photos, Roma on November 11th

This weekend I went to Naples.

In a nutshell, I spent 3 days wandering around a dirty, smelly, and poor city, and got scammed out of €75. I was buying an electronic device from a street vendor, and he played switcheroo in front of both my friend and I. It ended up being the most expensive bottle of water I ever bought.

But we went to Pompeii and Sorrento, too. Pompeii was cool to look at, and Sorrento was the best town I’ve seen here. The picture above is in Naples near the train station; the pictures below are random shots taken throughout the trip.
